CT Member for Jenasis Designs! and Freebie

After my mom's stroke a year and a half ago, I struggled to find time to do much of anything scrapbooking related. Now I am so ready to get back into it. What better motivation than applying for digital scrapbooking creative teams. I applied to Jenasis Design and boy am I so thrilled and excited! She is the perfect fit. She is getting back into designing and gearing up for a big entrance at Stuff to Scrap.

Her first big kit is called "Bliss of Both" and I love it! It is perfect for boys and girls and spring or summer photos. It is so versatile and can be used for just about any kid photo. With Gunnar's crazy, busy personality, this kit is a true winner. This kit is being released today at Stuff to Scrap.

This Blog is Being Resurrected

As you can see from the last post, I have not posted here for sometime. Oh like a long time. Last year, I didn't do a ton of craft things so it became easier to post on my family blog. However, I have gotten back into digital scrapbooking after a break when my computer completely crashed and literally lost everything and I have some great news coming out tomorrow in the digiworld. I am so excited for the announcement and it has forced me to work on digital scrapbooking which a love. It is pretty therapeutic for me to sit and the computer and create. So to this blog...it is coming to life. I hope to post all of the scrapbooking things that I am working on and throw in whatever else I feel like.

Here are a few of my most recent layouts. Realizing that I needed to replace the majority of my scrapping supplies, I was reminded that there are so many freebies out there. Awesome ones too and not every designer does an awesome job.

Year of Memories

These little 6x6 albums are so incredibly cute! When my son was born, I started taking a picture a month in the exact same spot by the exact same stuffed dog on the date that he was born. I loved seeing the growth month from month through these pictures. This album is a version of what I did. Each page reflects the feeling of the month. The come in both boy and girl versions. A simple ribbon completes the look. The inside title page can be customized with a name. The album is also perfect for any age or any occassion. Just a fun little album to document the year.

All I Want for Christmas...

I recently created these super cute Christmas Advent Calendars for Etsy and Sugar Snap Blossoms. They are so incredibly cute and I am proud of each one of them. They have the best secret spot for a daily treat or message. A scripture can be used or the lyrics to a Christmas carol. The possibilities are endless. Each calendar is very unique. Sugar Snap Blossoms
